Although we sell on eBay and Craigslist, both marketplaces are different. Craigslist does not have listing fees, templates to choose from and the listings last between 7 and 45 days. The add placed on Craigslist has a fixed price, so you can not bid on it, the price is the one listed and it usually is negotiable. On most cases the shipping fees are already included in the price of sale. That makes our selling policy different.

The process is absolutely FREE! for Buyers, all fees associated to a transaction will be deducted from our commission.

On Craigslist and Kijiji, the Seller must lists the Item for sale and answer questions from potential Buyers on it's own.After both parties have settled on an agreement, the Buyer must Register on our website. If the price was negotiated and it's different from the original price listed, the Seller must first confirm the new price before we send the Buyer an Invoice via email. All the information submitted at the time of the registration, whether you are a Buyer or a Seller, will be kept private according to our Privacy Policy.

The Invoice - will contain all the transaction details and payment instructions needed to complete the transaction. The Buyer will have Step-by-Step instructions on how to send the payment and confirm it to our Financial Department. Once the payment was sent and verified by our staff, it will be placed in one of our accounts for safe keeping.

The Shipping - will start as soon as the payment is successfuly received and verified by our Financial Department and it can take up to 3 business days to be completed. Usually, Items are delivered withing 36 hours from the payment confirmation.

Payment Methods - we accept any kind of payment: Credit Card, Check, PayPal, Money Order, Wire Transfer and Bank Transfer. However, the payment method depends on the marketplace the Item is purchased from. Most of the specified payment methods are accepted only for eBay transactions. Unfortunately, due to the large number of scams involving stolen PayPal accounts, Credit Cards, fake Checks, Western Union or MoneyGram, these methods are not accepted for Craigslist transactions.

Down Payments - for transactions under $10000 we require the payment in full before the shipping process starts. For transactions over $10000, we accept down payments representing a percentage of the selling price the seller originally asked.

Attention Sellers - our commission will be deducted from the original asking price, not from the final price negotiated with the Buyer (if negotiated). This will prevent any attempt on completing the transaction outside our system.

When a customer wishes to use GuardLine Sales to Sell on Craigslist, he/she can do so by dropping the Item at one of our locations (small Items), or have us pick-it up from the customers location as indicated in our Large Item Program or GuardLine Sales at Home.

Shipping - Items sold on Craigslist or Kijiji are not available for pick up from our locations due to our escrow/consignment selling procedure. Large Items like vehicles, RV's, boats, etc, are being held at our warehouses and will be shipped anywhere in the country of purchase if the transaction is made on Craigslist or Kijiji. On eBay, additional shipping charges may apply even for domestic transactions.

All Items sold by GuardLine Sales on Craigslist and Kijiji are being held at our warehouses, unfortunately not all our locations are listed on our website since pick-up is not an option. We know this is very inconvenient for Craigslist users which are used to face-to-face transactions, so we decided to throw in a 7 Day Money Back Guarantee that works on a simple system, you lie, you pay. This means that when the Seller lists an Item for sale, it must make sure that the description is as detailed as possible, otherwise the Buyer may return the Item for any reason at all and the Seller will pay the fees associated with this process. This gives second thoughts to Sellers that "forget" to mention certain details regarding their Item description. This is a very simple and effective way to sell on Craigslist because the Buyer can try the Item for 7 days before taking a decision.

Shipping Methods - We mostly ship using external shipping services like DHL, FedEx, UPS, for small Items. For vehicles or large Items, we use our own shipping service which is free for Craigslist or Kijiji buyers, even if the Item is too large. Guarantees - when taken in our custody, all Items are verified and compared with the Sellers description and pictures. If that matches the actual condition of the Item, then it can be listed on Craigslist or Kijiji.


We run a full history report on all vehicles, verify titles, test all appliances of used RV's, Concession Trailers, etc.
