Follow these five simple steps:

Use the correct packaging for your item—seal your package with 48mm or 50mm wide sealing tape and double pack heavy items. Never use damaged or non-standard packaging materials—they won’t work.

Don’t send dangerous or prohibited goods—the rules vary from company to company, but as a rule of thumb you shouldn’t send drugs, people, explosives, etc. If you think it could get you into legal trouble, it will, and you shouldn’t put it in the box.

Use special care with fragile items—never allow fragile items to move around freely or bump into each other inside your box. Make sure to wrap each item individually and stuff enough extra protective packaging inside the box to keep things from sliding around. Your package will be tossed and turned every which way—if your goods aren’t protected, they’ll feel every movement.

Always put the correct and full address on the packaging—if you don’t list all of the necessary information, your package will be undeliverable. Chances are, neither you nor the recipient will ever see it.

Fill out the necessary documentation—If you don’t accurately complete your paperwork and declarations, your package will be delayed, maybe indefinitely.

What is a status exception code?
An exception occurs when a package is temporarily delayed while in transit. Every effort is made to deliver every package as soon as possible, so an exception does not necessarily denote a late shipment. The status exception explains the most recent exception in the scan activity section.

The term "PMX" refers to a p.m. exception, when a shipment is returned to a delivery station for the night because it was undeliverable during the courier's route. Such a delivery exception may occur because the package was incorrectly addressed, a recipient was unavailable, etc. In many cases, delivery is re-attempted the next day.

Can I track without an airbill?
In order to track your package, you will need to use the air waybill tracking number, found above the bar code on the Aex Courier Service Courier shipping label. All Aex Courier Service shipments are assigned air waybill numbers, so you should be able to contact the shipper for the number if you cannot find it.
