Norfolk Freights is a household goods transportation company based in London, United Kingdom, specialising in excess baggage, overseas shipping, removals, storage and commercial relocations.
We know the way around England, Europe and the World. A Norfolk Freights Ltd was established in 2002 in London. Since then the operation has been expanded to cover all main locations World Wide, and have fully-staffed offices, vehicles and a modern warehouse. Selected and trained agents have also been appointed in other areas to supplement the branch network. In addition, a separate specialist division was established to undertake Overseas Removals.

Membership of these organisations ensures that the highest standards of service are upheld in the removal industry. As a privately owned, independent company Norfolk Freights has a business philosophy of providing clients with an efficient professional service at an economical cost.

Management and Workforce
The Norfolk Freights management team has an average of over 6 years' service in the company. Besides the experience they have, most of the management personnel worked their way up through the chain from being on the road as drivers, porters or crew leaders and earned the position they currently hold.

Training
Office staff is trained on various computer programmes. Technical staff is training on a regular basis in order to maintain the fleet to the high standards required by our Operators license. Norfolk Freights has various training programmes for packers, porters and loaders.

Apart from these courses, in-house training is done on a regular basis in order that staff can remain abreast of developments in the transport field.

Our Fleet
The fleet ranges in volumes from 2 cu m combo vans, to 60 cu m specialised removal trucks. The average age of the fleet is 4 to 5 years and is owned and not leased. The majority of our fleet is Ford. All vehicles are equipped with satellite tracking with 24 hour monitoring and controlling. Our entire fleet are also equipped with satellite navigation units for better road and traffic management.

Pneumatic Balers
The Norfolk Freights baler is used for large amounts of cardboard and plastic. The big door opening of this baler makes it easy to fill and makes the baler perfect for large pieces of cardboard. The baler we use produces heavy bales that fit right on a euro pallet for easy transport to the local recycling plant.
